Marvel The Ultimates #1 Comic Book

Juan Frigeri's art is the standout here, especially how he handles the big group shots. Camp's script keeps the political tension tight without drowning the action. Solid start to the new run.

Deniz Camp was the reason I grabbed this, and he didn't disappoint — the pacing is tight and Frigeri's art on the action spreads is some of the best I've seen in a while. As a jumping-on point after the Ultimate Universe one-shot, it works fine even if you missed that issue.

Picked this up the day it hit the shelf and tore through it in one sitting. Juan Frigeri's art during the big fight spreads is genuinely gorgeous, and the pacing never drags. Solid start to the new run.
