Quick Answer
Cover D is a photo variant of the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers 30th Anniversary Special, featuring a real cast image rather than drawn art. It's a sought-after collectible for fans and variant cover collectors.
Why Photo Variants Matter in Collecting
Photo variant covers use actual photographs from the show or movie, offering a different aesthetic than standard illustrated covers. For Power Rangers, Cover D captures the original cast in a nostalgic image that resonates with longtime fans.
These covers often have lower print runs than standard editions, which can increase their collectibility and potential value over time. However, value depends on condition, demand, and market trends.
