The full-color illustrations are bright enough that my 4-year-old points out Gru's daughters on every page. It's a quick read at bedtime, which honestly helps when we're already running late.
The illustrations are bright and full-color, just like the movie, and my 2-year-old points at Gru on every page. It's a sturdy little hardcover too, so it's surviving the toddler grab-and-chew phase.
My 4-year-old makes me read this every single night now, and honestly I don't mind because the illustrations are bright and fun. The pages are sturdy enough that they've survived his enthusiastic page-turning. Perfect length for a bedtime story.
