The pacing in this issue is relentless, and I love how Glinda's search for Mombi's secret runs parallel to the witch building her new kingdom. That split storyline makes the whole thing feel bigger than a typical second issue.
The Abbondanza cover art on this issue is easily the best of the four variants, really striking colors. Glinda's absence while Mombi schemes in the North kept me turning pages faster than I meant to. Already preordered the next one.
Mombi building her own kingdom while Glinda's off chasing answers makes this issue hard to put down. The Abbondanza variant was the one I grabbed and the colors really pop on the page. Already need the next issue.
