I've been collecting Stooges memorabilia for years and the centennial issue feels like a proper tribute. The paper stock is thicker than most modern comics, and flipping through the classic gags made me laugh out loud on the train.
The Fraim cover art is the reason I grabbed this instead of the standard one, and it looks even better in person. Flipping through the centennial issue, the mix of classic bits and history notes kept me reading way longer than I planned.
I wasn't sure what to expect from a centennial issue, but the cover art by Fraim is sharp and instantly recognizable. It's a solid tribute that captures the trio's chaos perfectly, and it's got a nice weight to it for a special edition.
