Star Wars #1 Comic Book

The art in this one really sells the post-Return of the Jedi setting, and Segura's writing gives Luke a voice that feels true to where the character ends up. I read it in one sitting and immediately wanted the next issue.

I wasn't sure how I'd feel about a new era set right after Return of the Jedi, but seeing Luke, Leia, and Han again on the page hit me harder than expected. Segura's writing keeps the pacing tight, and the art makes every panel feel cinematic. Already counting down for issue #2.

Segura really captures the post-Return of the Jedi uncertainty, and the art on Luke’s first page alone is worth the price. It’s a solid jumping-on point even if you’ve missed the last few arcs, and the issue left me genuinely curious where this new era is heading.
