DCon's mascot character had gone and gotten a "Japanime"-esque do-over, courtesy of @bigshotklim (for Ben @3dretro and Don @datadub), and sculpted by @bigshottoyworks, with a quartet of colorways previewed+released (in "a small super limited quantity") at DesignerCon 2019 itself!
Vincent comes in at about 6 inches tall and is articulated!
The sculpt work on this mascot is way more detailed than I expected for a sofubi this size — the little folds in the hoodie really pop. Paint apps are clean too, no smudging around the eyes. Sits perfectly on my shelf next to the other DCon pieces.
The dark pink vinyl has a nice matte finish that looks way better in person than in the photos. Sculpt is really clean for a sofubi this size, and the Japanime-style redesign of the mascot works surprisingly well. Sits right on my shelf next to the other DCon pieces.
