DCon's mascot character had gone and gotten a "Japanime"-esque do-over, courtesy of @bigshotklim (for Ben @3dretro and Don @datadub), and sculpted by @bigshottoyworks, with a quartet of colorways previewed+released (in "a small super limited quantity") at DesignerCon 2019 itself!
Vincent comes in at about 6 inches tall and is articulated!
The silver paint job on this sofubi has a nice metallic sheen in person that photos don't quite capture. The sculpt work from Bigshot Toyworks is sharp too, especially the little details on the mascot's face.
Wasn't sure how the Japanime redesign would look in hand, but the sculpt is way more detailed than the photos suggested. The silver paint has a nice weighty feel and it sits perfectly on my shelf next to my other sofubi pieces.
The metallic silver finish really pops in person, way more than in photos. Packaging was solid too, arrived with no scuffs on the vinyl. Glad I grabbed this one for the collection.
