DCon's mascot character had gone and gotten a "Japanime"-esque do-over, courtesy of @bigshotklim (for Ben @3dretro and Don @datadub), and sculpted by @bigshottoyworks, with a quartet of colorways previewed+released (in "a small super limited quantity") at DesignerCon 2019 itself!
Vincent comes in at about 6 inches tall and is articulated!
The colors on this sofubi pop way more in person than in photos, that bright yellow really makes the sculpted details stand out on my shelf. Joints feel solid too, not loose like some vinyl figures I've handled.
The sculpt by Bigshot Toyworks gives the mascot a sharper, more anime-style face than the older DCon versions, and the sofubi vinyl has a nice heft in hand. Yellow isn't usually my first pick but it works here.
The yellow paint job pops way more in person than in the photos, and the glossy finish really makes the mascot's goofy expression shine. It’s got a nice heft to it too, feels solid without being too heavy for a shelf.
