Didn't expect the bass on this to hit as hard as it does during the battle themes, but Hattori's orchestration really comes alive on wax. The gatefold sleeve is sturdy too, and both LPs sit flat with no warp right out of the box.
The pressing is dead quiet, which matters a lot with a score this dense — all those low brass swells come through clean. Spinning the second LP while I work has basically become my afternoon routine.
Didn't expect Takayuki Hattori's score to hit this hard on wax, especially the quieter synth passages on side B. The double LP gives each track room to breathe, and the drums on the battle theme actually rattled my shelf. Been spinning it every night since it arrived.
