Hot Toys MMS 521 Captain Marvel

The head sculpt on this Carol Danvers figure is honestly uncanny, the likeness to Brie Larson caught me off guard. Articulation is smooth enough to get her into a proper flight pose without the joints looking awkward.

The mohawk really sold me, it's sculpted with this subtle texture instead of looking like a plastic blob. Out of the box the red and blue suit needs almost no futzing, which is rare for me since I usually spend an hour on poses.

The face sculpt on this figure is shockingly accurate to Brie Larson, way better than I expected for the scale. The flight stand it comes with holds her in a dynamic pose without any wobble, which is rare for these. Genuinely the centerpiece of my shelf now.
