That Ejikure variant cover is even better in hand, the colors really pop next to my other Spider-Woman issues. Story picks up right after the Web of Destiny stuff, and the tension between her and Spider-Man over the new team hooked me by page three.
The Gang War storyline pulls you right in from the first page, and the Ejikure variant cover has this moody, dynamic energy that pops on the shelf. I grabbed this to follow the "Web of Destiny" aftermath and it does not disappoint with Captain Marvel and Madame Web already hinting at bigger trouble.
The Ejikure cover art is absolutely stunning in person, the colors pop way more than they did on screen. The story kicks off the Gang War arc with a solid first issue, and seeing Spider-Woman interact with Captain Marvel and Madame Web has me curious where it's headed.
